First facility in Australia to use the full CAD-CAM technology of the Omega Tracer System
SSS manufactures all its own custom orthotics at its two on-site workshops in Cairns and Townsville. Our Orthotists and Technicians use the latest in Computer Aided Technology (CAD CAM), materials, and techniques to provide the highest standard of custom orthoses from foot orthoses, AFO's, KAFO's and Spinal Orthoses. SSS was the first facility in Australia to use the full CAD-CAM technology of the Omega Tracer System and the first in North Queensland to do Orthotic joint alignment using the Otto Bock L.A.S.A.R posture system.
SSS is the only facility in Australia to offer fully custom pictures/patterns/prints on their thermoplastic orthoses. For almost 15 years we were limited to the same boring patterns. The apperance of our Orthoses is very important to us, and even more important to the little (and big) people we set out to help. Just another way SSS sets the standards for client centred Orthotic management.
