Ryan Kelly

Ryan graduated from La Trobe University Melbourne in 2002 with a Bachelor of Prosthetics and Orthotics and has recently completed an Executive MBA in 2016.  Ryan’s interest in Prosthetics and Orthotics started in High School, choosing subjects to secure his place at La Trobe University.  Ryan began working in the Prosthetic and Orthotic industry in 2003, establishing SSS Prosthetics and Orthotics in Townsville in 2005, with the aim to focus on local based high quality care in North Queensland.  Ryan’s biggest clinical interest is pathological gait, how he can manipulate a walking pattern to optimise it for both comfort, function, protection and longevity whether it be amputee, neurological or other orthopaedic conditions.

Daniel Baldwin

Daniel graduated from La Trobe University, Melbourne in 2002 with a Bachelor of Prosthetics and Orthotics.  He started his career on the Gold Coast then moved back to Melbourne to work at The Royal Talbot Austin Health.  Getting the travel bug he then moved to the UK working at Peacocks Medical Group and the renowned Queen Mary’s Hospital in Roehampton.  In 2005, Daniel joined his university friend Ryan Kelly as joint Director of SSS Prosthetics and Orthotics.  Daniel has a keen interest in gait analysis and has completed Otto Bock Academy courses for Transfemoral, Transtibial and Upper Limb Prosthetic management.

Adrian Brown

Adrian has recently joined SSS Prosthetics & Orthotics at the brand new, full time prosthetics and orthotics clinic in Mackay. Adrian has over 35 years experience designing and making prosthetic limbs and orthotic devices. He started as a trainee limb maker at Appliance and Limb Centre in Sydney, whilst working as a technician and going to RALAC to complete the XYZ course, as there was no University course at the time. Adrian has managed facilities in NSW and has spent most of his working life in acute rehabilitation and prosthetics. Adrian’s main focus is on improving lives with prosthetics or orthotics, with a passion for both interim and definitive prosthetics. His end goal with all patients and clinical services is to see the smile on his patient’s face when they can achieve their goals through using what he has made.

Stephanie Isaac

Stephanie graduated from La Trobe University, Melbourne in 2012 with a Bachelor of Health Science and Master of Clinical Prosthetics and Orthotics. She has spent the last 6 years working in an acute hospital setting, enjoying both the role in a critical care stages, through to acute rehabilitation of patients requiring a prosthetic or orthotic provision. Stephanie enjoys working with patients toward specific goals setting, designing and manufacturing prostheses or orthoses to meet these needs. She is also interested in global development and access to prosthetics and orthotics in developing countries.

Gemma Timms

Gemma has recently joined SSS Prosthetics & Orthotics, since graduating from LA Trobe University in 2019, with a Masters of Clinical Prosthetics and Orthotics.  Gemma has previously enjoyed internship within Australia, where she spent time at SSS for further experience.  She has a keen interest in idiopathic toe walking, high risk diabetic foot management, neurological and paediatric orthopaedic conditions, enjoying seeing patient specific goals achieved.  Gemma has a passion in managing clients through the interim stages of prosthetic management.

Alicia Kruske

Alicia graduated from La Trobe University, Melbourne in 2019 with a Bachelor of Applied Science and Master of Clinical Prosthetics and Orthotics. She joined the team at SSS Prosthetics and Orthotics after undertaking one of her final year clinical placements here at SSS in Townsville, where she developed a great appreciation for North Queensland. Alicia has a strong clinical interest in the orthotic management of neurological disorders, especially in paediatric populations, which she established through her clinical placements. Alicia also enjoys working closely with patients and their families to achieve their goals.

Emma Duthart

Emma graduated in 2016 from the University of Salford in Manchester with a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Prosthetics and Orthotics. After graduating, Emma started her career working for Steeper Group at The London Royal Hospital and various other hospitals in London and South East England, where she provided inpatient and outpatient services. She has recently moved to Australia where she joined SSS Prosthetics and Orthotics in Cairns. She has an interest in spinal fracture bracing and high risk diabetic foot management. She has a passion for seeing clients meeting their goals.

Jeremy Wallace

Jeremy graduated from the University of the Sunshine Coast in 2019, completing a Bachelor of Health Science, majoring in Prosthetics and Orthotics. Jeremy works in our Mackay office in a clinical and technical role. He enjoys the process of working within multi-disciplinary teams and realising the clients aesthetic and functional goals through the devices he creates.

Alana Kruger

Alana graduated from La Trobe University in Melbourne and has over 14 years of clinical experience at Royal Melbourne Hospital working in Rehabilitation and Definitive prosthetics. Alana has experience working as part of a multidisciplinary team rehabilitating unilateral through to quadruple amputees. She has also worked rehabilitating upper limb patients using body powered prostheses as well as myo electric prostheses. Alana has a wide knowledge of prosthetic knees and has a lot of experience in both transtibial and transfemoral prosthetics. Alana enjoys fulfilling patients’ goals through prosthetic prescription, design and manufacture.
