Ryan Kelly Founder & Director of SSS
Ryan graduated from La Trobe University in Melbourne in 2002 with a Bachelor of Prosthetics and Orthotics and completed an Executive MBA in 2016.
Ryan’s interest in prosthetics and orthotics began in high school. He started working in the prosthetics and orthotics industry in 2003 and established SSS Prosthetics and Orthotics in Townsville in 2005, aiming to provide high-quality, locally based care in North Queensland.
Ryan’s primary clinical interest is in pathological gait, focusing on optimizing walking patterns for comfort, function, protection and longevity in patients with amputations, neurological conditions, or other orthopaedic issues.
Ryan is member of AOPA.

Alana Kruger Senior Prosthetist & Orthotist
Alana is seasoned professional with over 15 years of clinical experience in rehabilitation and definitive prosthetics.
A graduate of La Trobe University in Melbourne, she has worked extensively as part of a multidisciplinary team, rehabilitating patients with a range of amputations from unilateral to quadruple.
Her expertise spans both body-powered and myoelectric upper limb prostheses. Alana possesses extensive knowledge of prosthetic knees and has significant experience with transtibial and transfemoral prosthetics. She is dedicated to helping patients achieve their goals through personalized prosthetics prescription, design and manufacture.

Stephanie Isaac Prosthetist & Orthotist
Stephanie graduated from La Trobe University in Melbourne in 2012 with Bachelor of Health Science and a Master of Clinical Prosthetics and Orthotics.
Over the past 11 years, she has worked in an acute hospital setting, providing care for critical stages through to acute rehabilitation for patients needing prosthetics or orthotics.
Since working for SSS, Stephanie had enjoyed working with clients towards their long-term goals and recreational aspirations in their journey beyond the acute environment.

Alicia Kruske Prosthetist & Orthotist
Alicia graduated from La Trobe University in Melbourne in 2019 with Bachelor of Applied Science and a Master of Clinical Prosthetics and Orthotics.
She joined the SSS Prosthetics and Orthotics team after completing a clinical placement with us in Townsville, where she developed a deep appreciation for North Queensland.
Alicia has a strong clinical interest in the orthotic management of neurological disorders, particularly in paediatric populations. She enjoys working closely with patients and their families to help them achieve their goals.

Daniel Baldwin Director of SSS
Daniel is a passionate prosthetist and orthotist who graduated from La Trobe University, Melbourne, in 2002.
He started his career on the Gold Coast before moving back to Melbourne to work at The Royal Talbot Austin Health. His love for travel then took him to the UK, where he worked at Peacocks Medical Group and Queen Mary’s Hospital. In 2005, Daniel joined his university friend Ryan Kelly as a joint director of SSS Prosthetics and Orthotics. Daniel's expertise in gait analysis and prosthetic management shines through in his work every day.

Gemma Timms Prosthetist & Orthotist
Gemma graduated from La Trobe University in 2019 with a Master of Clinical Prosthetics and Orthotics.
She has previously enjoyed internships in Darwin, Melbourne, and Cairns. Gemma has a keen interest in interim prosthetic management during the initial stages of prosthetic rehabilitation and enjoys all aspects of orthotic care, including paediatric AFO management.

Philipp Domanski Prosthetist & Orthotist
Philipp started his career in 2015 in Northern Germany, focusing on both lower and upper limb prosthetics.
He then went on an adventure as a backpacker and ended up in Cairns just as COVID hit. After returning to Germany, Philipp completed further studies to earn his ISPO certification. He subsequently gained valuable experience working in Zurich, Switzerland, specializing in neurological orthotics and gait analysis.
In March 2024, Philipp made his way back to Cairns to join us again.

Kylie Camp Health Assistant & Pedorthist
Kylie is our versatile allied health assistant and pedorthist with a background in health and fitness.
Previously a physio assistant at Cairns Hospital, Kylie brings expertise in fitting off-the-shelf devices and specializes in working with DVA and NDIS patients. In our clinic, she seamlessly supports clinicians and technical staff, ensuring high-quality care and precise fittings for all our patients.

Harro Groenewegen Exercise Physiologist
Harro graduated in 2016 with a Master of Clinical Exercise Physiology (Rehabilitation) with Distinction from Charles Sturt University.
Over the years, Harro has also trained in Ashtanga Yoga, massage, and Bowen Therapy. Harro has a keen interest in mentoring people and facilitating the improvement of their overall movement, mobility, strength, and fitness. He firmly believes in the inherent capacity of the human body to correct, recover, and develop, maintaining that exercise without pain leads to more gain.

Adrian Brown Senior Prosthetist & Orthotist
Adrian, one of our Mackay team members, boasts over 40 years of experience designing and fabricating prosthetics and orthotic devices.
His career started as a trainee limb maker in Sydney. Over the course of his career, he has managed facilities across central and regional NSW and several visiting outpatient clinics across the country.
Adrian is proud to have dedicated much of his professional life to acute rehabilitation and prosthetics.

Jeremy Wallace Prosthetist & Orthotist
Jeremy graduated from the University of the Sunshine Coast in 2019 with a Bachelor of Health Science, majoring in Prosthetics and Orthotics.
Since joining us, Jeremy has excelled in both clinical and technical roles. He enjoys the process of designing and creating devices to enhance the lives of those around him.
